I followed the beacon for Pilot Last Known Location, found the chasm with the Cotton Anemone, and nothing else. I circled around and examined the iceberg I thought it was referring to but never found a way in. So I reached the point where the signal shows the pilots last known location, but its just kinda in the middle of the water and fades out when I get close to it. The PDA tells me about a hollow cavity in an iceberg. I still had to find the specific opening to reach it. I think this is due to poor visibility and less open space. They are obtained in the Arctic Spires (head over the bridge you can repair using the hydraulic fluid, then head to the North/Northwest area, the cache containing the object you need to scan is in. In Below Zero you are given a map (if you find it) but even knowing where something is, it can still be hard to locate.
